I could tell you that it was born around a journey, a story or a possible theme that has been thought about for a long time, stretched and dissected to its essence and it would be a pretty embroidery of words but it would still be a lie. The truth is that creation is daily for me, when I come across an inspiring attitude in a street, at the sight of an accessory or a jewel in a window, an image in a film, gently by a memory or more brutally by the arrival of an idea in the middle of the night. My world is filled with old objects, small new trinkets and so many other manufactured things all of this collides and coexists to breathe new ideas into me, this is how I feel the creative process.
My values…
Authenticity, simplicity and respect are for me the most important codes both in my professional and personal life. When I receive my future brides there is no makeup or mask I do not play a role, a very special bond is created between a young woman and the designer of her wedding dress. This relationship lasts several months during which we exchange a lot, it is imperative for me that all this is sincere; some of them sometimes even become friends. I am a very natural person and deeply attentive to the emotions that surround me and I work accompanied by the most beautiful of teams, when you enter my shops it is somewhere the doors of my home that you are opening.
My inspirations…
They are as diverse as music can be, in my workshop Yolandi gives the microphone to Brassens who passes it to Freddy to end up in the hands of Elvis or Johnny Cash. I am inconstant, excessive and sometimes elusive in short I am a woman who creates for other women that's how it is; we are enchanted by ideas that we will reject tomorrow and addicted to things that we hated the day before; but we are lucky to be able to reinvent ourselves every day while remaining true to who we are. This is what I want to offer to my brides, be the woman you are as complex as she is for this special big day with authenticity, femininity, audacity and even a little madness.
